Man, am I glad for not having that milk problem with my coffee. I go all black, unless I manage to scramble my order with awkward phrasing, ending up with something else than what I wanted..

I actually prefer my espresso plain anyway, all these watered-down, sugared-up mochas and americanos mask far too much of the drink's natural flavor.

Local beans would be a plus though, although impossible with our climate :C:C:C

The beans are not grown here, we don't have the climate for that either. xD Instead, they get imported and then roasted at a local company.

Usually when I hear about 'murricans wanting to learn about Norwegian things in general, I'm assuming they either hail from the northern mid-west or that they're a fan of Breivik, for whatever reason.
I'm a huge fan of stereotypes btw.

Why the hell would anyone ever be a "fan" of Breivik? Also, I've been interested in Norway for at least five years now, so you really couldn't ascribe that reasoning to me, could you?

PS: I don't drink "Soy Lattes" and "Grande" is a sizing of beverage generally only utilized by Starbucks whose beans are of inferior quality and are roasted by a non-local, Seattle-based company. As a vegan and an espresso-lover, the problem with using soy as an alternative to dairy in your espresso beverages is that, while soy has excellent similarity to the consistency of cow's milk and will foam very similarly, it tastes very much different. Therefore, I only drink straight espresso, usually a doppio ristretto. Also, I prefer buying my coffee from independently-owned, locally-based cafés that only use high-grade local roasts like Stumptown or Dovetail.

And of course, I have to ask: what's your fursona?

She's a pink bunny girl with neon green tiger stripes. :3

Heya, I'm King.

Although I currently live in the United States, I'm really interested in the possibility of spending some time in Norway and I'd like to meet some of the furs around the area.

If anybody here would be interested in meeting somebody state-side feel free to PM me for my Skype username and we can totally chat some time. ^^

I'm afraid that I don't speak a lick of either Bokmål or Nynorsk, but I'm beginning to learn. I do, however, speak English, German and Spanish.

PS: I apologize if it's taboo to use English outside of the non-Norwegian forum, but I wanted to post some kind of introduction and this seemed a better place of the two options. To the site's moderation: Feel free to move it wherever it really belongs and I apologize once again if its placement is incorrect.
